In an interview with Polygon, Marvel’s VP in charge of games Jay Ong made it clear that his company is taking its plans in a bright new direction:
Marvel Games isn’t saying this as if the decision has just been made – the fruits of the company’s labor are now apparent. Insomniac Games, coming off a string of excellent game releases, is undoubtedly going to put all of its effort into an excellent product. Then there’s the announced, but as yet unrevealed, game coming from Telltale Games. Considering how great Telltale’s Batman looks, it should be superb too. It’s a matter of months before Marvel starts delivering these “epic games.”

What’s already been announced is just the beginning, however. In both the Polygon interview and as part of the announcement Marvel sent out to reveal Spider-Man PS4, new projects were indeed teased. Here’s what Jay Ong had to say:
And then here’s the quote from the direct Marvel Spider-Man PS4 announcement:
Obviously each quote taken at face value could mean any number of things. Marvel could just be excited to share more news regarding Spider-Man, but the way it’s written implies a bit more; it sounds like Marvel’s got more games coming down the pipeline. Of course that could just mean Telltale’s Marvel game will get fully revealed, but it sounds like Marvel Games’ plans are going to get very big, very quick.
Spider-Man, which is not the final title, is seemingly a PlayStation 4 exclusive and has no tentative release window at this point.
