Following complaints from gamers that a bit too many MCU skins were coming to Marvel’s Avengers, Crystal Dynamics has been starting to add some more comic accurate suits on par with Superior Iron Man and Werewolf Captain America. Not only have Uru Armor Iron Man and Destroyer Thor come to the game, but Hulk fans recently received news that a classic comic outfit would be available in the marketplace. Dubbed “Monster Heart,” this look should be appealing to fans of Worldbreaker Hulk.

As pointed out by Crystal Dynamics, this Hulk outfit is directly inspired by The Incredible Hulks #632, which released back in 2011. The story where this look is pulled from saw Hulk snapping after She-Hulk was poisoned by a villain named Armageddon. Hulk’s veins went on to glow a bright green due to a massive increase in anger and gamma radiation, with this version of The Hulk able to destroy worlds. Effectively dubbed Worldbreaker Hulk, this take on the character is popular due to his absurd strength, making it a fitting skin for the game to adapt.

Considering that She-Hulk is expected to be the next hero that comes to Marvel’s Avengers after Jane Foster is added, it is a fitting time to add Worldbreaker Hulk to the skin lineup. However, it remains to be seen if the game will survive for that long. With it currently being unclear if Disney will approve Embracer’s continuation of Marvel’s Avengers and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, and if Embracer will even want to continue making content for either property, the future of the games is up in the air.

Considering that an online connection is needed to access Marvel’s Avengers’ many marketplace skins, hopefully an option will be added so that they are usable offline if the servers are eventually shut down. While there is always hope that Marvel’s Avengers will recover and have a comeback story like Final Fantasy 14 or No Man’s Sky, it is seeming less likely as time goes on. As such, it would be a shame if fans purchased Worldbreaker Hulk only to lose access to it in a few months’ time.

Regardless, those that were hoping for some more comic accurate Hulk costumes have gotten their wish. While Marvel’s Avengers fans are patiently waiting for news regarding what comes after Jane Foster, at least the game is getting support for the time being.

Marvel’s Avengers is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
