How to Contact the Worldmind in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy
The correct order of inputs to enter on the console to contact The Worldmind in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy in Chapter 9 is: Criminal Offenses > Past Crime > Pay a Fine. However, there is some interesting information to be found in the other sections if players are curious.
Not only will the rest of the team offer some funny comments when Peter picks the wrong options, but there is some additional lore and background information on significant characters. Like Kor-El, Nikki, and Richard Rider, AKA Nova in the Marvel universe.
When players are done investigating the different options available on the console, and pick the “Pay a Fine” option to finally contact The Worldmind, they will then need to try and convince it to help them fight The Universal Church of Truth in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Whether they succeed or not will slightly alter the ending of the game.
When the exchange between the team and The Worldmind is over, players have the option to proceed with paying the Nova fine or ignoring it. This decision also alters the end of the game slightly, but not in a huge way. However, paying the fine will unlock the “Galactic Frugality” Achievement/Trophy in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.
To make sure players have enough Units to pay the fine, they should make sure not to spend too much while exploring Knowhere in Chapter 6. It can be tempting to experience everything, but as long as players end the chapter with enough Units to pay the fine, they can repeat the chapter at any time from the main menu to see everything that Knowhere has to offer.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
