How to Escape the Foggy Cave in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy

After listening to the sounds of the unknown monsters for a short time in Chapter 10 of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, two members of the team will offer their suggestions on what they think the correct creature is. Players can choose to agree with one over the other, or like many other discussions, they can stay silent.

When Peter agrees with a member of his team on what he can hear, that exact creature will appear for the team to fight. After defeating them, two more foggy paths will appear, and players will have to decide all over again. This will keep occurring on a loop unless the correct option is selected.

To escape the foggy cave in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, players should choose the “…” dialogue option. Rather than choosing a side, Peter will tell everyone to be quiet, which will clear the fog on one path, showing the team the correct way to go.

Although Chapter 10 doesn’t contain any of the most important choices that change the ending in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, it does show how far the team is willing to go in order to help Drax. It’s the turning point in how the team’s attitudes toward each other have changed, and also introduces a major character at the end.

On the path ahead, players should be on the lookout for a Gamora Guardians Collectible in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. This will allow Peter to have a personal conversation with Gamora back on the Milano, and help unlock a few Trophies/Achievements.

There are a lot of other collectibles and references to the comics and MCU movies to find throughout the rest of the game. Including the many comic-inspired outfits in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy hidden in pink chests. These are usually hidden in secret areas.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
