Marvel’s Midnight Suns has also begun scheduling livestreams in order to further inform fans about the game’s mechanics, with hands-on playtime with the developers. This gives fans an opportunity to ask questions about the game and its development. Marvel’s Midnight Suns has been quiet about whether its post-launch DLC would indeed add to its thirteen playable characters. Deadpool made note of how fans want Moon Knight to be added, for example, but more characters have been pointed to as candidates for DLC since.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns May Be Gearing Up for Official DLC Announcements
As soon as Deadpool commandeered Marvel’s Midnight Suns’ marketing, subtle and implicit news about the game had started to drop at a relatively frequent pace. Deadpool’s attention on social media has been drawn to the game’s community of fans, for example, and engaging with them in custom, illustrated portraits.
Deadpool himself is already considered a DLC character because of his full character model being displayed, with Nolan North of all actors playing him. Having Deadpool announced as a DLC character this way would certainly be unorthodox, but also weirdly in-character. Likewise, because Marvel’s Midnight Suns’ base game roster is allegedly full, it only makes sense that he would be added post-launch in a DLC expansion.
If the game is supported for a while after launch, Deadpool could usher in new playable characters that add personality and mechanics to Marvel’s Midnight Suns’ Abbey. There has been no official announcement to state directly if he will be a part of the game somehow, but all the marketing involved with Deadpool since has established the possibility that DLC announcements are currently and subliminally being made by the Merc with a Mouth.
Storm, Venom, and Others Could Be Added to Marvel’s Midnight Suns as Playable DLC
Storm and Venom have now been revealed with what look like illustrated concept art of their character models. The key giveaway that these characters could be playable in Marvel’s Midnight Suns DLC is that the concept art features gold, white, and black outfits.
These outfits are available for all playable characters in the game already, and thus having designs created for Storm and Venom insinuate that they will be as well. It seems as though Marvel’s Midnight Suns could take Marvel characters from outside the game as DLC, but it also has the option to make antagonists playable as well, which opens the door to as many DLC characters as Firaxis desires.
At the time of this writing, Deadpool also seems to be “leaking” Morbius’ inclusion in Marvel’s Midnight Suns. The evidence supporting this is Deadpool’s hints that the character is “pasty,” and has seven letters in their name. Moreover, Morbius was one of the members of the original Midnight Sons from the comics, though only time will tell if the character is revealed to be someone else other than Dr. Michael Morbius, the Living Vampire.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns launches December 2 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S with PS4, Switch, and Xbox One versions coming later.
