With the reveal of Marvel’s Midnight Suns, the latest video game in Marvel’s line, many iconic Marvel superheroes will be making their way to consoles and PC very soon. Fans eagerly await the potential of even more reveals of both heroes and villains alike, and what potential awaits their powers in Marvel’s Midnight Suns. These are the heroes that have been revealed so far.
11 Spider-Man
The iconic friendly neighborhood Spider-Man was revealed to Marvel fans in the Summer Game Fest 2022 trailer for Marvel’s Midnight Suns. Fans of PlayStation’s Spider-Man title will recognize that Yuri Lowenthal returns to voice the famed web head for this new Marvel title.

Even more interesting, Spider-Man debuts a new Midnight Suns-specific outfit. This costume is a sleek design of black with golden armored layers and a red spider symbol on the front.
10 Iron Man
In the debut trailer for Marvel’s Midnight Suns, Iron Man was one of the first superheroes to be revealed on the heroic roster. This version of Iron Man sports a new suit, but of course, he is no stranger to a new costume.
In the comics, Iron Man’s iconic red and gold color scheme often changes depending on the situation; for example, if he goes into space with the Guardians of the Galaxy. With the Midnight Suns, he seems to be following the theme of black and gold costumes, with magical runes embedded into the costume.
9 Wolverine
Perhaps no Mutant is as well-known as the X-Men’s Wolverine. He’ll be appearing in his own Insomniac Games title later. This character has iconic powers, like his adamantium claws and healing factor, but his costume returns to its peak of comic potential. His outfit consists of runes etched into the gold of his costume.
Fans of Marvel’s Midnight Suns have already seen Wolverine in action as he came to blows with the villainous Sabretooth. The character is also voiced by Steve Blum, who has done plenty of iconic voice work for Wolverine before.
8 Ghost Rider
There have been a few characters that have taken the mantle of Ghost Rider, from Johnny Blaze to Danny Ketch to Robbie Reyes. The reveal of Marvel’s Midnight Suns all but confirmed Robbie Reyes as this game’s Ghost Rider.

Ghost Rider plays an essential role in the formation of the Midnight Sons in the comics, as it is he who has a vision of the antagonist Lilith, resurrecting and causing mayhem. It will be interesting to see what legacy is honored in Marvel’s Midnight Suns video game.
7 Blade
This Marvel character is a fan favorite for all things supernatural, so it’s no surprise that Blade is involved in the halting of demon spawn from Hell.
Michael Jai White has been confirmed as the voice of Blade for Marvel’s Midnight Suns. On one occasion in the comics, the Midnight Sons were forced to battle their member, Blade, after he was transformed and corrupted into Switchblade by the Darkhold.
6 Doctor Strange
Another member to join the cast of Marvel’s Midnight Suns is none other than the sorcerer supreme himself, Doctor Strange (not to be confused with the MCU’s sorcerer supreme, Wong). The original formation of the Midnight Sons in the comics came from Doctor Strange drawing together nine beings with ties to the occult. Together, they would battle Lilith and her demonic forces.
Doctor Strange has also been seen sporting a new skin with the same black and gold theme as the rest, but this time with a long cloak and a hood. Players that want to experience Marvel’s XCOM-inspired game can preorder the title to receive a Defender costume for Doctor Strange.
5 Magik
Magik has a unique set of powers that are well suited for video games. She can create portals, create mystical items, and she wields a powerful sword.
Her powers affect an alternate dimension known as Limbo, and it will be interesting to see if Lilith has any plans for Magik and her powers when it comes to her own goals.
4 Nico Minoru
Nico Minoru is also involved in magic and the occult of the Marvel universe. She eventually became the leader of a group known as the Runaways.
One trailer of Marvel’s Midnight Suns shows Nico using the Staff of One. This staff is part of her power set, which uses blood magic. It will be interesting to see how the Staff of One plays into the game, as it cannot cast the same spell more than once.
3 Captain America
The First Avenger, Captain America has a role to play in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, but it is unknown whether his role is story related, or simply to fill the roster with iconic Marvel heroes. This is because Captain America is not a part of the team in the original comics.

Out of all the Avengers on the team’s roster, only Doctor Strange is part of the original Midnight Sons. This leaves Captain America and his shield in the rather unknown occult territory.
2 Captain Marvel
Captain Marvel’s powers are of cosmic origin, so it will be interesting to see what powerful strengths she can bring to the table when fighting against magic and the occult. Captain Marvel has been seen in gameplay with the protagonist character, The Hunter. She is also the favorite hero of Ms. Marvel.
Interestingly, Captain Marvel was not featured on the comics team of Midnight Sons, which makes her appearance in this game all the more mysterious.
1 The Hunter
The Hunter is a brand-new character that was designed specifically for Marvel’s Midnight Suns. Players will be able to create their version of The Hunter, with a fully customizable appearance and set of abilities.
Developers Firaxis designed The Hunter so that players can truly immerse themselves in this world riddled with superheroes and super villains.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns releases October 7 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
