The modder known as “NightWolf2503” has created the Fixpack mod for Mass Effect: Andromeda that aims to refine many of the problems BioWare failed to address while developing the title. This includes quest glitches, animation fixes, item bugs, and more. Not to mention, the modder included a few voice actor swaps in order to make conversation feel more natural, as the mod syncs up characters’ faces to better reflect the voices representing them.
According to the latest update to NightWolf2503’s Fixpack mod for Mass Effect: Andromeda, multiple voice over actors for the turians at the Paradise on Elaaden have been changed to better match their voice sets. Additionally, certain conversations and cutscenes have been altered, as one refinement includes a fix for Ryder’s neck getting twisted in discussions with Jaal at the Cultural Center and the Ancient AI in the SAM Node. Those interested in seeing the full rundown of the changes made with latest version of the mod can check out the patch notes right here.
While NightWolf2503’s campaign to fix Mass Effect: Andromeda is certainly commendable, most fans of the franchise will still lament the fact that the series has been put on hiatus following the latest entry’s dismal release, as the majority of BioWare is now presumably focusing its attention on Anthem. Of course, this doesn’t necessarily mean that there won’t ever be another Mass Effect game again, but it’s safe to say it will be quite a while before news of a sequel makes headlines.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
