March has typically been a big month for AAA video game releases these past few years and this supposed launch date does align with comments previously made by EA CFO Blake Jorgenson earlier this year that Mass Effect Andromeda was being readied for launch sometime during the fourth fiscal quarter which falls somewhere between January and March 2017.
While the evidence appears to be pretty convincing, gamers are urged to take the information with a grain of salt until EA or BioWare confirm the rumors or officially reveal the actual launch date for the game.
Thankfully, it appears that fans won’t have to wait too much longer for answers as BioWare is planning a big celebration on November 7, also known as Mass Effect Day. Thanks to a post on the official Mass Effect Twitter account, fans should expect to see a brand new trailer which will officially mark the beginning of the next chapter in the Mass Effect universe. Pressed for more answers by fans, the account then revealed that Andromeda will feature a deeper level of character customization as well, perhaps on par or even exceeding what the studio previously put out with Dragon Age Inquisition.
What do you make of the leak? Could this be authentic or merely a placeholder until EA gives up the actual launch date? Share your thoughts with us in the comment section below.
