Ryder is primed to become the latest in McFarlane Toys’ Color Tops series that is going to feature new figures from the upcoming Mass Effect: Andromeda. Although the company hasn’t divulged any details as to which other characters it will feature in the series, the first figure that will be created is going to be the male version of Andromeda’s main character.

As mentioned at the bottom of the image above, the photo of Ryder is just a prototype with some aspects of it subject to change. Of course, looking at the incredible intricacies and taking into account the accuracy of McFarlane Toys’ rendition of the Mass Effect: Andromeda character, one hopes the model above remains intact without subsequent alterations. However, it would be nice to discover if the helmet is indeed removable in order to potentially get a gander at whether or not that’s actually Scott or Alec Ryder’s mug, the latter of which is the father of the twin protagonists.

Naturally, considering the fact that McFarlane Toys has been creating figures modeled after a bevy of pop culture franchises for quite a while, it should come as no surprise that its version of Mass Effect: Andromeda’s Ryder is not the first instance of the company making highly detailed toys based on game characters. For instance, McFarlane Toys has made Gears of War 4 figures inspired by the shooter’s main character JD Fenix. Obviously, the manufacturer manages to remain incredibly relevant with its productions, as it also has Titanfall 2 toys planned for this winter.

Bearing all of this in mind, McFarlane Toys will likely follow-up the male version of Mass Effect: Andromeda’s protagonist with a figure based on the female hero’s suit and likeness not long after the release of the one above. Nevertheless, it remains to be seen as to when or if the sister of Scott will be immediately next in the production line of the Color Tops series.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is currently scheduled to launch sometime in the first quarter of 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
