One of the most popular characters seen in the original trilogy was Tali-Zorah, or Tali. Mass Effect’s Tali was a part of the quarian race and was known for the mask that she had to wear due to her race’s weak immune system. One artist decided to take their love for the character and dedicate quite some time to make a beautiful art piece honoring her.

A Redditor known as Togira21 posted an image of a work of cross-stitching that they did based on Tali. According to the user, the piece took them 177 hours over six months to complete. For the pattern, the artists stated that they used a mobile app that creates a pattern from an image, which then gives the exact colors to use. Togira21 mentioned that they found the work to be relaxing and that they also did a cross-stitch of Mass Effect’s Garrus.
A number of Reddit users have shown their love for Togira21’s work, with some calling it amazing. One commenter said that they would buy the stitch work if was put on a pillow, though the artist stated that they only know how to stitch on special fabrics. When asked whether working on the piece hurt their fingers, Togira21 responded with a no, though they did mention that it would occasionally hurt their wrists. The work is incredibly beautiful and shows an amazing dedication to the Mass Effect series.
Togira21 is not the only one who has created amazing art based on Mass Effect. An artist going by the name leafjuly drew a number of Mass Effect characters in the Hollow Knight style. They did 22 characters from the RPG series in the vein of the side-scroller, including Shepard, Tali, Garrus, Ashley, and Liara. Leafjuly did an excellent job of capturing aspects that made the Mass Effect alum unique while also turning them into bugs. The artist stated that they struggled with a few, but that they are happy with how the pieces came out.
