When the Normandy approaches certain eligible planets, the player is given the option to scan them in search of Element Zero, Iridium, Palladium, and Platinum. If they choose to launch a probe, they’ll get an assortment of resources but lose the probe in the process. The Normandy can only carry 30 probes at the start of Mass Effect 2 in Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, but luckily, they can be restocked and the ship can be upgraded to carry more....
Mass Effect 2 hasn’t even hit store shelves yet but Bioware has already revealed that they are hard at work on the the final part of the trilogy, hinting that we can expect to see it release either late 2011 or early 2012. As seen on EA’s Origin store listing, Mass Effect Andromeda has a bunch of pre-order bonuses waiting for players. For anyone that pre-orders the game, the Deep Space Explorer Armor set will be available to use in game. No word on if that set provides any bonuses tot he player or if it’s purely just cosmetic. Not only that, players will get a bonus skin for the now loading screen free Nomad ship along with a multiplayer booster pack containing five 50% XP boosters....
