Hawkeye will be the first DLC hero added to Marvel’s Avengers, arriving at some point before the end of the year with his own set of story missions, abilities, skills, unique costumes, and the new Battle Pass. Ant-Man was also heavily teased when the game was revealed. However, Crystal Dynamics has given no hints about who the remaining heroes could possibly be. Based on everything that’s been announced and some new details that were in the beta game files, fans do have a few ideas about which heroes could potentially come to Marvel’s Avengers as post-launch DLC....

For those who didn’t hear the E3 announcement, Marvel’s Avengers is being developed by Crystal Dynamics, a studio well known for its work on the Tomb Raider series reboot. Square Enix will once again be publishing its work. The game will release on May 15th of next year, but fans are apprehensive about the small roster, which will consist of only Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, Hulk, and Ms....

In recent months, Marvel’s Avengers has added a good mix of comic book and MCU-inspired cosmetics. One of the most recent comic book looks focused on Hulk, and it saw players able to portray Worldbreaker Hulk inside the game. The latest attire for Hulk is also inspired by the comics, though it sees him getting a makeover that is far from what one would expect from a Hulk skin. This is largely due to his cute and cuddly choice of footwear....

The Week #117 update to Marvel’s Avengers sets the stage nicely for the debut of The Winter Soldier. The Red Room Takeover is back again (this time replacing the Corrupted Vibranium limited time event) and players can power through the event tasks to earn some nice rewards. In addition to the Red Room Takeover activities, this is also a great week to do some catching up thanks to one of the game’s biggest experience bonuses going live....

Obviously players, especially endgame players, are itching for new content and confirmation that the game is still alive and well, but these bug fixes are incredibly important, as well. The team behind Marvel’s Avengers have made it clear that improving the existing experience before moving on to new content is their priority, so that as new players join in they aren’t met with a buggy experience. The Marvel’s Avengers Cosmic Cube Villain Event has been on the game’s 2021 Road Map with a scheduled June release, but up until now no real details had been shared. It seems like maybe Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics were just saving the news for the E3 buzz and the full event details including all dates and rewards are now available. Still, Crystal Dynamics continues forward with quality of life updates, patches for bugs, as well as new heroes like Kate Bishop and Hawkeye. While the experience remains far from perfect in the eyes of many fans, a long awaited roadmap was recently revealed, giving players some idea of when new content would be arriving including the surprising expansion centered around Wakanda and Black Panther.
