Crystal Dynamics announced on Marvel’s Avengers’ official Twitter it was adding Cap’s stealth suit from Captain America: The Winter Soldier with its latest update. The suit, as the name implies, is Steve Roger’s most subtle and visually muted suit in the MCU with a vibranium shield to match, reflecting his time working as an agent of SHIELD. It is not known if this suit also comes with a tracking node for SHIELD to keep track of Cap as it did in the film, though given the context of the game, it is likely missing it....

However, it has been announced that Marvel’s Avengers will debut Jane Foster’s Mighty Thor in a future update that may also tie in with the theatrical release of Thor: Love and Thunder. Therefore, Crystal Dynamics does intend to continue updating Marvel’s Avengers, but it is not certain how long these updates and DLC additions may persist. In the meantime, fans can always anticipate additional MCU-inspired skins as they have become a staple....

The Marvel’s Avengers PS4 closed beta was planned to launch not Friday morning, but rather Friday evening. The early launch means players will be able to access the beta for around 12 extra hours. While that may not be a huge amount, especially since most people have to work through the day, it’s better than nothing. Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix revealed that Patch 2.3 will effectively reprise Nick Fury and restructure the War Table to streamline Marvel’s Avengers’ mission selection process. Developer Crystal Dynamics has steadily teased the new content over the past few months in an effort to bring back the dwindled Marvel’s Avengers fanbase. The last attempt at a Hawkeye narrative was Kate Bishop’s DLC back in December 2020, and although Bishop is an admirable Hawkeye in her own right, the DLC didn’t meet many fan expectations. When the announcement came that the Future Imperfect DLC would feature another Hawkeye, fans hoped that Clint Barton’s Hawkeye would be different from Kate Bishop and add some new life to the game....

While the original leaks for Marvel’s Avengers listed over a dozen post-launch heroes for the game, more recent leaks have narrowed that number down greatly. In the game’s code, dataminers have found several references to four specific unannounced heroes.
