Maryland Labor Secretary Tiffany Robinson said the state division that processes unemployment claims found something amiss when it noticed a large number of claims filed outside of the state. Robinson said the state quickly noticed the oddity and blocked payment on any suspicious claims. State workers then alerted federal investigators about the irregularity, and the investigators are now reportedly looking into unemployment claims in other states to see if similar schemes have been tried elsewhere, according to the Baltimore Sun....

Medi-gel is the fictional cure-all that can treat wounds and revive teammates in Mass Effect: Legendary Edition. The primary use for most players, however, will simply be to patch up Commander Shephard after taking fire in combat. The controversial bill would limit classroom discussions about gender or sexual orientation for certain age groups. While proponents of the bill, including Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, argue that these types of lessons don’t belong in schools, critics say that the law would marginalize the LGBTQ community. A number of companies within Florida have decried the bill and DeSantis’ backing of the legislation. Marvel Studios became the latest to do so Tuesday, releasing a statement condemning the “Don’t Say Gay” bill and any other similar laws....

All of these characters and locations gave Marvel’s Spider-Man a fleshed-out world that wasn’t isolated from other Marvel properties, and it was better for it. Spider-Man is great on his own, but part of his charm is getting to see him interact with all kinds of other heroes. With all of the setup that Marvel’s Spider-Man did in establishing different characters in Earth-1048, it gives the highly-anticipated sequel a lot of potential to give other Marvel heroes some kind of cameo....

Announced via the official Marvel’s Avengers Twitter account, the skin simply swaps out Natasha’s usual black spy suit for a pure white one to match her appearance in the movie. Despite the movie not releasing until tomorrow, players can already acquire the skin through the in-game Marketplace. Following the Spider-Man exclusivity announcement, Crystal Dynamics has gone ahead and updated the Marvel’s Avengers box art. Well, it’s updated it for the PlayStation anyway. Now the box art features a Spider-Man badge that promotes the beloved wallcrawler as a PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 exclusive. The trailer only briefly teases Hank at the end of the presentation, following all the other heroes’ much longer and more elaborate reveals. The time is spent wisely, though, as the character quickly makes use of the tech that he’s known for. After an enemy drops in through one of several portals opening up, Hank uses his shrinking abilities - via a sort of energy cannon - to deal with a threat that even has Tony Stark on edge....

Rewinding to the early cartoons from the 60s or the more sophisticated animated series from the 90s, all the way to the first superhero films of the 2000s -which also had Kevin Feige in producing roles-, each of those surely helped in crafting the MCU’s identity today. While it would be nice to see more Miles Morales suits being requested by fans, Peter Parker costumes are usually the focus of suit request posts. To be fair, this is understandable, as Peter has an incredibly long legacy full of stylish looks for fans to choose from. Whether it be Arachknight or The Amazing Spider-Man 2 suit, fans are always sharing ideas for potential Peter costumes. The latest look would be particularly flashy, though it might actually make more sense for Miles despite initially being worn by his mentor....

While Venom didn’t make a direct appearance in Marvel’s Spider-Man, the game certainly laid a foundation for him to show up at some point. Venom is not mentioned by name, but when players first see Harry Osborn being kept in a stasis chamber at the end of the game, he is covered in a symbiote-like substance. This heavily implied that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 could feature Venom, but it still leaves the question of why the character is being delayed at all....

A roadmap for Marvel Snap was shared for the game even before its launch, perhaps to establish healthy expectations for players.
