It has always been assumed that Marvel’s Spider-Man would receive a full-fledged sequel, reinforced by the launch of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales’ standalone title and the post-credits teases that appeared in both installments. Insomniac then released a teaser for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 at the PlayStation Showcase in 2021, which revealed Venom and seemingly hinted at Kraven the Hunter. Insomniac is therefore hard at work on the sequel and its new Marvel’s Wolverine game, which was also revealed at the showcase, but the former is overdue for a new trailer soon....

While players may be theorizing about Spider-Man villains that Peter Parker and Miles Morales could face, as well as what alternate costumes the heroes could be wearing in the sequel, that theorizing may be going on for some time to come. In a recent interview with Comic Book Movie, Spider-Man voice actor Yuri Lowenthal discusses what he is excited to see in the sequel. Beyond that, though, he confirms that he has not yet worked on the game....

It is quite common in superhero media for characters to be killed or otherwise written out of the narrative. While there can be powerful narrative reasons for these villains to be killed off, many popular evil characters have seen their stories end earlier than some fans would like. There is always the chance they could be revived somehow through the superhero fantasy, but it is nonetheless great thus far that Insomniac has refused to kill any of the main antagonists in Marvel’s Spider-Man....

The feature in question was actually inspired by Spider-Man: Far From Home. During the film’s final act, Peter Parker has an emotional talk with Happy about Tony Stark’s legacy and being his own hero. Motivated, he goes on to create his own suit, designing the black and red costume that he wears for his final fight against Mysterio and during some key scenes in Spider-Man: No Way Home. The actual design process of this suit is what interested Reddit user Idarkstar3000, as Peter mixes and matches various parts in a way that would translate well to a game....

In a reply to the Twitter thread detailing the trophy list for Spider-Man: Miles Morales, a fan asked Insomniac if Spider-Man Remastered would “have a separate platinum from the PS4 version.” The studio’s official Twitter account replied to the user, named GGMattt, by saying yes and confirming that “there’s also several all-new trophies.” This is undoubtedly great news for trophy hunters, as Spidey fans who care about the shiny badges of honor have something new to strive for in the remaster....

According to Wong, Marvel’s Venom, Winter Soldier, and Black Widow are all on their way to Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, as is the titular Monster Hunter from Capcom’s Monster Hunter franchise. Work on these four characters is well underway, so expect to see them all in action within the next couple of months. Mary Kom was making a comeback to competitive boxing after two years following the birth of her third child. She lost out to Pinki Jhangra in the 51kg in the final of the three-day selection trials and failed to qualify for what would have been her maiden Commonwealth Games. Mary Kom did dominate the bout but the Haryana girl was quick and was more aggressive than her Manipuri opponent.
